About the firm

The people you meet are the people who do the work

iAdvizors Nexoium was built on a simple observation: the decisions that matter most to a business — structure, capital, governance, succession — are usually made with the least senior help in the room.

Philosophy

Senior judgement, applied early

Most advisory failures are not failures of execution. They are failures of timing — the right question asked a year too late, after the structure was chosen, the capital raised and the hire made. Our conviction is that senior judgement, applied early, changes outcomes more than tactical execution applied late.

The firm is organised around that conviction. Three partners, each leading a defined practice and each personally accountable for the work in it. We combine financial discipline, commercial judgement and cross-border execution — and we stay close enough to the operating reality to know when the textbook answer is the wrong one.

Operating model

Partner-led, end to end

In most consultancies the partner is the salesperson and the delivery team is whoever is available. Here, the partner who scopes the engagement delivers it — analysis, recommendations and implementation. There is no leverage pyramid, no rotation, and no re-explaining your business every quarter.

This model has a natural consequence: we take on fewer engagements and we choose them carefully. Clients get direct access to a senior practitioner whose name is on the outcome — the way the largest firms once worked, and the way founder-led businesses still expect.

How engagements work

Discreet by default. Senior by design

Four stages, in sequence. The order matters, because each one determines what the next can achieve.

I

A confidential conversation

Thirty minutes with a partner — the situation, the constraint, and the outcome that matters. No obligation and no pitch deck.

II

A defined scope

What we will do, who will do it and what it costs, agreed before work begins. The partner named is the partner delivering.

III

Partner-led delivery

Work is done by the partners, coordinated with your existing advisers and, where required, qualified local specialists.

IV

An accountable outcome

Engagements end with a decision made, a structure built or a function running — not a report on a shelf.

Who we serve

Businesses at inflection points

Our clients are founders and promoters, family businesses professionalising or planning succession, mid-market companies outgrowing their finance function, international groups managing multi-entity complexity, and investors preparing for or completing transactions.

What they share is a moment of consequence: entering a market, raising capital, restructuring a group, preparing for scrutiny, or handing over to the next generation. That is when the quality of judgement in the room matters most — and when we are usually brought in.

International coordination

One coherent picture across jurisdictions

Cross-border businesses rarely lack advisers. They lack coordination between them — the local accountant, the offshore lawyer and the group finance lead each holding one piece of a structure nobody sees whole.

We act as the connective layer. The firm holds the group architecture — structure, reporting, tax logic and governance — and coordinates jurisdiction-specific work with appropriately qualified local advisers in each market: US professionals for US matters, authorised advisers across the UK and European countries, and qualified Singapore and Indian specialists for theirs.

What we do not do. We do not provide regulated legal, statutory audit or investment services, and we do not advise on local rules from a distance. Where local licensing applies, the work is carried out by, or in coordination with, an appropriately qualified local adviser.

The difference

Between the giants and the generalists

Against large consultancies: comparable discipline and standards, without the leverage model. You are not paying for a brand and receiving a bench. The analysis is senior, the relationship continuous and the accountability personal.

Against transactional service providers: we are not a filing shop. Compliance is table stakes; the value is in the judgement above it — whether the structure serves the strategy, whether the numbers support the narrative, and whether the business is ready for what it is about to attempt.

First principles

Independence and confidentiality

We are independent: no referral commissions shaping our advice, no products to place and no audit relationships to protect. Our only interest in a recommendation is that it is right.

We are also discreet by design. Engagements are conducted privately, client identities are not used for marketing, and sensitive matters — succession, disputes, transactions — are handled with the confidentiality they deserve. The firm operates by introduction and appointment.
